What is behind GLEE?

The group it is formed by the students who in certain way are least adapted in the 'High School'. In every chapter there is a social background with optimistic messages for the persons who suffer discrimination.
Across the music they manage to join more, to fight against the homophobia, the mistreatment, not wished pregnancies, familiar problems. They overcome the typical problems that any teenager can suffer and that could meet that always there is an exit.

Besides all that, Glee adapts topics that not all the teenagers know, of the 70's, 80's and actually like Journey, REM, Madonna, Bonnie Tyler, Queen, Celine Dion, the kiss, Whitney Houston, Bon Jovi, Cee-Lo, Lady antebellum, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears...

All these prominent figures contribute to him series a great capacity of integration and diversity and lead her to touching topics as delicate as the bullying, the teen pregnancies, the homosexuality, the food and psychological disorders, the competitiveness and especially the capacity of overcoming.

  1. We think that Glee doesn't reflect reality. That addresses issues such as homophobia, teenage pregnancy, etc, to call attention to the public,I mean that they only care about their audiences because issues such as these are those who most appeal people.

  2. Hello! The truth is I've never seen this series so I can not comment much on it. Today, young people in society are common themes that Glee is, but I see some that make a series directed to such topics, youth awareness and take us to consider the kind of life we lead. Important because we never think it's a series that does not happen in real life and do not give importance to all these problems.

  3. Probably Glee doesn't reflect reality, but I think that it's not the most important thing in these series. People care about if someone is in love with a friend, if a couple has broken up, etc, because it makes them forget about their real life and they don't worry about anything when they're watching it. And if the characters even sing their favourite songs...much better! ;) (Álvaro)

  5. The truth is that I’ve never watched this series. I think it doesn’t reflect reality, but probably some of its chapters are good, and also some of its songs and the topics they talk about too. I will try it and tell you my opinion!
